On Thursday, October 2, 2025, Superior will gather once again for our annual State of the Town event at Besich Park. This tradition has become a highlight of the year — a chance to reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate the progress we’ve made, and look ahead with pride and purpose.

A Look Back: Four Years of Themes

Each year, State of the Town has carried a theme that reflects both the challenges and the triumphs of Superior’s journey:

• 2022 – The Superior Spirit

  We celebrated 140 years of resilience, tradition, and generosity — honoring the spirit that has carried Superior through challenges and into a vibrant future.

• 2023 – The Superior Resolve

  Determination and grit were at the center as we reflected on how our community moves forward together in spite of roadblocks, building a foundation for the next generation.

• 2024 – Superior Superstars

  Superior’s people took the spotlight — our “cast and crew” of residents, volunteers, and organizations whose hard work powers the blockbuster projects shaping our future.

Behind the scenes, Rebuild Superior, Inc. has been a driving force in making the State of the Town possible. For the past five years, their team has worked hard to bring this event to life — ensuring that it’s not just a presentation, but a true community celebration.

Rebuild Superior is dedicated to helping the town become the best it can be by providing resources, support, and opportunities for residents. They believe in the power of people to make a difference, and the State of the Town is one of the ways they bring that vision to life — creating a space where everyone can be informed, inspired, and more involved in shaping Superior’s future.

This year, our theme is The Superior Soundtrack. Every great town has its own soundtrack—and Superior’s is playing louder than ever.
